Ahoy, 2021!

A quick glance back at the W I L D year that was 2020 allows me to see some really magical, personal moments and some professional progression forward. FoxSeaSkin.com became an honest to goodness e-commerce shop right before the country (the entire world!) went into that first lockdown. I busied myself when I could with local deliveries and shipping orders to various spots around the country. Those orders meant so much to me, and really buoyed my spirits during those very uncertain months. I took some time to try new formulas (some worked, some never saw the light of day), brought my fav-o-rite Cape-made soap and sea salt to the shop and dabbled in various accessories. One of the most delightful developments was launching two keshi pearl jewelry pieces, handmade by Melani Wilson Designs. The Jennifer Threader earrings (named for me) and the Anne necklace (named for Melani’s grandmother) were instant hits, thanks to a few stylish friends who like to shop online. There are too many more sweet and salty moments of 2020 to list here, which is a very good thing, and I’ll do my best to remember that even in the darkest times, there is always room for light.

But we have to keep looking toward the horizon, yes? For 2021, I'm going to continue to focus on the small selection of products I personally make, while also offering an assortment of fun goods and goodies via collaborations with friends I adore and brands I admire. My hope is that FoxSeaSkin.com will become a favorite digital spot where you can always find pieces that transport you to a warm, sunny beach. I plan to keep a steady rotation of limited edition, unique, occasionally one of a kind, accessories to weave into your life, with sustainability and social awareness in mind. I’m debuting two new mini collabs this month, AND I have one-slash-two big launches coming up, so there’s lots to be thrilled about over here in the FoxSea Shop.
